Registrations for the second installation of the Asia Pacific Fuel Industry Forum are going strong.  This year the event is being held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 13-14 September 2017.

For the first time, the APFI Forum hosts two streams to cater for the inclusion of equipment and service providers.

The Retail & Distribution Forum is the traditional, full two-day conference.  This plenary features a number of high profile speakers who will discuss the key strategic issues that shape the future of operating within the downstream petroleum industry, including:

  • The economic outlook for Australia and our industry
  • Fuel quality standards
  • Fuel price transparency and retail industry competition
  • Compulsory fuel price reporting schemes
  • Biofuels in the Australian transport fuels mix
  • Fuel storage site safety
  • Fuel filtration
  • The history of fuel distribution in Australia
  • Launch of 2017 consumer attitudes research
  • Employment law compliance
  • Staff safety and site security
  • Cyber security and privacy
  • The trajectory for electric vehicles in Australia
  • Equity analysis of convenience retail strategies

The full agenda for the Retail & Distribution Stream can be found at: www.apfiforum.com/apfi-forum-agenda/.

The Contractors Forum has been built into the event as a one-day stream on Wednesday 13 September for the E&S providers.  This stream will allow an open forum for these businesses to come together and discuss the important topics that impact their servicing of fuel retail and distribution centres, as well as hosting the launch of the ACAPMA Best Practice Guidelines on UPSS Maintenance, Vapor Recovery, Stormwater Management and Biofuels Storage.

The full agenda for the Contractors Stream can be found at: https://apfiforum.com/contractor-forum-agenda/.

Attendance at the APFI Forum is open to anyone who operates within the wider downstream petroleum industry across ANZ and Asia-Pacific.

At this stage, registrations have already been received from some of the large players in our markets in Australia and New Zealand and the trade hall exhibition space is almost sold out.
