As reported earlier, the Modern Awards have been under review. As part of that review the Road Transport and Distribution Award has been extensively reviewed and changes were gazetted this morning. The changes will effect ACAPMA Members who undertake fuel transport operations and warehousing.
The changes are currently under appeal by the Transport Workers Union and ACAPMA is providing comment.
ACAPMAs Workplace Relations Professionals are reviewing the determinations and updating the Quick Reference Guide for the RTD Award. The updated Quick Reference Guide and a detailed summary of the changes will be circulated to ACAPMA Members in the coming days.
