Next week, the ACAPMA secretariat and Board of Management head to Canberra for a week of Board discussions, meetings with parliamentarians, and departmental briefings as part of the annual ACAPMA @ the House Program.

This program, now in its fourth successive year, provides an invaluable opportunity for representatives of the Downstream Petroleum and Petrol Convenience Industry to meet with members of Parliament to discuss the issues and concerns currently facing the Industry.

This year the ACAPMA Board is set to meet with the Minister for Small Business the Hon. Bruce Billson, the Minister for Employment Senator the Hon. Eric Abetz, as well as other members of Parliament to discuss matters such as the current Senate Inquiry into Australia’s transport energy resilience and sustainability and the regulatory review of OilCode.

While in Canberra. the Board will also be hosting its first meeting for the 2015 year, which will include discussions on the policy direction for the coming year.
