A 19-year-old Goodna man will appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court today charged with armed robbery.
Police charged the man following an armed robbery that occurred earlier on Sunday morning in Goodna.
It will be alleged that about 12.30am, a man entered a service station on Railway Terrace and produced a knife and made demands for cigarettes.
Police will further allege that the man then fled the scene with a quantity of cigarettes.
He was taken into custody a short time later.
The service station attendant wasn’t physically injured as a result of the robbery.
