Barossa Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Kapunda Service Station overnight.

Just before 2am, a man wearing a balaclava and armed with a knife threatened staff at the service station on South Terrace, stealing cash from the till.

The suspect who fled on foot is described as Caucasian, with slim build, wearing an orange long sleeve shirt and black track-pants.

There were no injuries.

Barossa Police have released CCTV images following the armed robbery.

Local Barossa CIB Detectives are investigating the incident and are asking anyone with information on the incident to please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
