Toowoomba Police have charged a 23-year-old North Toowoomba man following investigations into the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven service station on March 9.

Police will allege the man, armed with a knife, entered the Perth and Mackenzie Streets business at 5:30am on March 9, threatening the male attendant and demanding money.

He then allegedly left the scene on foot with a sum of cash.

The 23-year-old has been charged with armed robbery and entering a premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.
