As part of the annual ACAPMA @ The House event the ACAPMA Board of Management has undertaken a series of meetings to establish and formalise the direction for the Association’s policy framework and  agenda for the coming year.

The policy framework will set the base for ACAPMA’s advocacy program for the coming year, and the formailsation process will result in a Key Policy document that will be made available to members and regulators.

Having formalised the key policies and the advocacy agenda, the ACAPMA @ The House event will continue with the ACAPMA Board of Management heading to Parliament House for a series of meetings with Government Ministers, Advisors and Senate Members to discuss some of the critical issues facing the Industry.

Discussion topics will centre around regulatory requirements, the current review into Oilcode, the ACCC new reporting guidelines, regional fuel affordability, and the current Senate Inquiry into Australia’s fuel security.

ACAPMA Board members are looking forward to this opportunity to meet with Parliamentarians and ensure regulator are informed as to the realities facing downstream petroleum businesses.
