By popular request, this year’s ACAPMA conference will again be held on the Gold Coast at the Marriott Resort and Spa from September 22-25. Tickets go on sale today via the Association’s dedicated Conference & Expo website .
ACAPMA’s 2015 National Conference & Expo provides a unique opportunity for industry participants and service providers to liaise with senior representatives of the numerous Australian businesses that make up the Australian Petroleum and Convenience Industry.
“This year’s theme – Changing the Dynamics – is all about providing the businesses that operate in our industry with the knowledge needed to adapt to the continually changing environment in which they are operating,” ACAPMA CEO Mark McKenzie said.
“Australian competition laws, the future reliability of Australia’s fuel supply, the future of Australia’s taxation system and the ACCC’s new Regional Fuel Price studies are examples of major national initiatives that are likely to shape our market in the future”.
“The conference is our way of helping to make our members aware of these initiatives and what these initiatives mean for ensuring that their businesses remain market-relevant and profitable in the future,” Mark said.
But the three-day event is much more than a talk-fest. The ACAPMA Expo provides an opportunity for businesses servicing the petrol convenience industry to market their products and services while the extensive three-day social calendar provides an opportunity for business owners and trade partners to celebrate their involvement in the industry.
“The petrol convenience industry is a tough gig, with many businesses struggling to keep their heads above water from year to year. That is why a key objective of our event is to allow business owners to let their ‘hair down’ while also getting the information they need to plan for the coming year,” Mark said.
Evening events at this year’s Conference will include a White Pool Party – dress code strictly white – and the anticipated gala finale’ Cirque de Burlesque.
“And for exhibitors and sponsors there is no better event to get your brand in front of hundreds of potential customers in the petrol convenience industry in a relaxed but effective deal-doing environment”, Mark said.
With an expected 300 delegates and 70 exhibitors, the 2015 ACAPMA National Conference & Expo can rightly claim to be the premier industry event for the petrol convenience industry in Australia (i.e. Distributors, retailers, equipment suppliers and services suppliers).
