About 9.30pm on Sunday, a man entered a Wyoming service station on the Pacific Highway and threatened the attendant with a pair of pliers.

The man took a sum of money before leaving the store and running up Henry Parry Drive into Laycock Street.

He is described as being aged in 30s, 180cm tall, medium build, Caucasian appearance, unshaven, wearing a grey-hooded jacket and blue short.

Brisbane Water detectives are investigating the incident and are seeking assistance to identify the man.
