Two men and a boy have been charged following an alleged armed robbery at Tuggerah at the weekend.

About 6.20pm the three allegedly entered a service station on Gavenlock Road – one of them armed with a knife.

They allegedly threatened the attendant, a 22-year-old man, and took cash, cigarettes and food before fleeing.

No one was injured during the incident.

The three were arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station.

The two men will appear at Wyong Local Court today, while the boy will appear in Children’s Court.

A number of items, believed to have been stolen, were seized from nearby bushland and will undergo forensic examination.

The males, aged 23, 18 and 13, were charged with robbery in company and refused bail.

The two men will appear at Wyong Local Court todayand the 13-year-old boy will appear before Children’s Court today.

Inquiries into the matter are continuing.
