Police are hunting a man who failed in his bid to rob a Logan service station with a stick.
The man can be seen on CCTV entering the business in Browns Plains and brandishing what appears to be a small tree branch.
He then approached the front counter and demanded cash from the store clerk.
After being unsuccessful in his robbery attempt, the man lobbed the stick at the employee before he fled the store on foot.
