Police charge Bentley man over Kwinana syringe armed robberies
Police have charged a 35-year-old Bentley man who allegedly threatened staff with a syringe at a fast food outlet and service station in Kwinana early on Tuesday.
WA Police spokeswoman Ros Weatherall said about 12.35am, the man entered a fast food outlet on Gilmore Avenue and threatened staff with a syringe.
“He left the store empty-handed, before then entering a nearby service station where he again threatened staff with the syringe,” she said.
The man fled with cash, but police made an arrest soon afterwards.
The Bentley man will appear at Rockingham Magistrates Court today charged with attempted armed robbery, armed robbery and possessing a prohibited drug.
