A MAN threatened a service station attendant with a machete during an overnight robbery in Dundas.

Two men entered the service station on Kissing Point Rd about 11.45pm Tuesday.

The man with the machete demanded money from the attendant who complied and handed over the cash register drawer.

The men were last seen running north along Quarry Rd.

The employee was not injured during the robbery.

The first man was described as of Caucasian appearance, 20-25-years-old.

He was wearing a white cap, dark blue hooded jumper with a gold design on the front and a number on the back, dark pants and white shoes.

The second man was of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 25-30 years old, and wearing a dark blue hooded jumper, dark tracksuit pants, black and red shoes.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
