ONE of the city’s busiest petrol stations will be closed for four months while it undergoes a $1 million renovation.
Caltex, on the Docker and Edward streets corner, is expected to reopen in late November or early December after it closed on August 1.
The store’s business manager said renovations to the busy petrol station, located opposite Wagga Base, included the upgrade of the 12 existing pumps and tanks.
He said no additional pumps would be added and the station will offer all types of fuel.
The business will be closed for up to four months and Caltex will pay for the renovations, earmarked to sit around $1 million, he added.
The remaining six Caltex fuel stations will continue to operate in Wagga as per usual.
