This West Australian truckstop has all that long-haul drivers need after a big trip.

The BP Kewdale Truckstop has long been the go-to destination for eastern states and long distance Western Australian commercial vehicle drivers.

With its restaurant as well as shower and laundry facilities, it has all that long-haul drivers need after the long trek.

Site manager Ken Chan has been with the truckstop for more than six years. Many of his BP Kewdale team are long termers as well, and Ken has noticed many changes in the industry, including the availability of AdBlue at the pump.

He says the BP Kewdale’s focus has always been on the trucking industry and he is determined that the facilities, including the truckies room, offer visiting drivers a place to take a well-earned break, while offering competitively-priced meals.

“Our breakfast in the morning is $11.95, with everything thrown in — bacon, sausages, everything,” he says.

“Because we are catering for truckies, we serve decent sized portions.”

When Owner//Driver called in, the truck parking area out back was busy, with some drivers opting to have their trucks cleaned at the Kleening Zone Truck Wash.
