Smoking petrol bowser closes service station
Tara Miko, 25 September 2015
SMOKE seen coming from a petrol bowser closed the station as Queensland Fire and Emergency Services isolate the area.
Crews were called to the Freedom Fuels on Murray St at Pittsworth about 2.40pm.
They secured the area and isolated the power supply to the bowser.
A QFES spokeswoman said crews will remain at the service station to ensure the safety of motorists and workers until a technician arrives to determine the cause of the smoke.
