Police need the public’s help identifying this man in relation to an assault on a service station attendant and the theft of a number of items on October 9.

Around 11.30am, a 23-year-old man was working behind the counter of a Meadow Springs petrol station on Meadow Springs Drive.

The attendant was approached by the man, who grabbed a number of items from the shelves, without offering to pay for them.

The man grabbed a can of drink and threw it at the attendant.

It hit the attendant in the face and caused a large laceration.

The offender continued to throw items at the attendant, causing him to run from the store.

The offender is described as being fair skinned, with a slim build, blonde short hair, in his early 20s, with a blue t-shirt, and white patterned board shorts.
