THE driver of a Forty Winks truck misjudged the height of a petrol station roof and his truck became wedged underneath it.

The incident happened the Coles Express on Ruthven and Alderley Sts yesterday afternoon.

The Chronicle understands the truck entered the station to refuel but became stuck.

The truck appears to have been higher than the signed maximum height of 2.9m.

The truck has since been moved from the area.

A manager at the petrol station declined to comment on the incident.
