PERTH drivers are being advised to fill up before the average price for unleaded petrol spikes by 16c on Tuesday.

FuelWatch has advised drivers the average cost of unleaded petrol will hit $129.8 per litre — with most Puma sites going up to $134.9/L and many Caltex sites hitting $133.9/L.

Sunday and Monday are currently the cheapest days to pick up petrol in the Perth petrol price cycle, with Tuesday and Wednesday the most expensive.

Most United sites will be increasing the price of unleaded to $130.7/L on Tuesday and most BP, Caltex Woolworths and Coles Express sites will be raising prices to $129.9/L.

Drivers could save about $12 on a 60L tank by finding the cheapest sites.

The most affordable locations on Monday are:

— Caltex StarMart Baldivis at $107.9/L

— Caltex StarMart Midvale and Caltex StarShop Swan View at $108.9/L

— Caltex Woolworths Ellenbrook and Caltex Woolworths Osborne Park at $109.7/L.

Tuesday’s cheapest locations will be:

— BP Bibra Lake at $113.9/L

— Better Choice Edgewater and Better Choice Tuart Hill at $115.5/L

— Better Choice Roleystone, Tomeo’s Service Station and Gull Karragullen Motors at $116.9/L.
