AN application for a service station at one of the Swan Valley tourism area’s major gateways has been submitted to City of Swan.
The 7-Eleven petrol station is proposed for the intersection of West Swan Road and Benara Road in Caversham.
It would include two 10m high illuminated pylon signs, a 200sq m retail building and a 2.2m high acoustic wall along the western boundary.
Vehicle access to the petrol station would be from Benara Road and West Swan Road.
The Metro East Joint Development Assessment Panel will ultimately decide on the application but City of Swan will provide a recommendation.
Anyone who wants to comment on the proposal can send a submission to Patricia Hirst at City of Swan, PO Box 196, Midland by December 18 quoting reference number DA823-15.
