Police have released CCTV footage of two men stealing an ATM from a Fyshwick service station early on Thursday morning.

The men, driving a stolen white Ford Ranger ute with New South Wales registration plates BJ54PE, broke into the Metro Service Station on Barrier Street just after 1:00am.

They attached straps to the ATM and used the ute to pull it from the store.

Both men had their faces covered and were wearing gloves.

The first man was wearing a black long-sleeved Adidas hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants and black shoes.

The second man was wearing a dark grey long-sleeved hooded jumper, camouflage pants and fluorescent yellow sneakers.
