FUELWATCH is encouraging drivers to fill up their petrol tanks at the bowsers on Monday with the average cost of unleaded petrol set to increase by 13 cents per litre to 125.0 cpl on Tuesday.
FuelWatch said BP sites were expected to increase their ULP prices to 129.9 cpl, with Caltex Woolworths sites set to increase their ULP price to 128.9 cpl and most Caltex, Coles Express and Puma sites increasing to 127.9 cpl.
The watchdog tipped that, on average, the cheapest fuel this week was on Sunday and Monday and the most expensive days would be Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
FuelWatch said drivers can head to the mobile compatible www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au site to find the cheapest fuel in their area.
On Tuesday there will still be over 30 sites selling below 115 cpl.
The difference between the highest and lowest priced sites is 24 cpl, which means you can save up to $14 on a 60 litre tank of fuel.
