POLICE are searching for a man who robbed a Wattle Grove service station at knifepoint on Wednesday night.

The man in his mid-20s entered the Welshpool Road Puma service station at about 8.30pm and threatened staff with a knife.

He took cash from the store and left on foot.

The man is described as being about 175-180cm tall with a medium build, olive skin and short-curly dark hair.

He was wearing a red-pink zip-up jacket, dark shorts and white shoes.

Police want anyone with information on the incident to call 131 444 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 FREE.
