TWO women and a man have been charged after a service station was held up at knifepoint at Burleigh Heads overnight.
The woman and man entered the Caltex on the Gold Coast Hwy at about 1.30am and allegedly threatened the attendant with a knife, demanding money.
A second woman stood by the door.
The attendant complied with their demands and handed over a cash tray from the register.
Police allege the trio fled the scene in a vehicle, which police located a short time later in Palm Beach.
No one was injured during the incident.
A 21-year-old woman from Upper Coomera, an 18-year-old man from Wattle Ridge, and a 21-year-old Southport woman have been charged with armed robbery.
