Two service station attendants have been left shaken after they were threatened in separate hold ups in Perth’s south.

According to police, a man entered the Shell service station on the Canning Highway corner and threatened a worker, with what’s believed to be a hammer.

The man demanded cash and then fled the scene of foot around 5.30am.

Police say the man then entered the Quickstop on Leach Highway in Myaree less than 12 hours later.

Armed with a weapon, the man demanded cash and then left.

Detectives have charged a 34-year-old man of no fixed address over the pair of armed robberies.

The man’s will face Fremantle Magistrates Court tomorrow on two counts of armed robbery.
