Around two thousand litres of diesel has been stolen from a service station in the state’s south over the weekend.
Police say the BP in Lauderdale was targeted by thieves who syphoned fuel from on-site storage tanks.
Officers say a small tanker or truck with large storage tanks would likely have been used in the robbery.
Motorists are urged to report anyone offering them discounted diesel fuel.
