Perennial franchisor, 7-Eleven Australia has been awarded the Canstar Most Satisfied Customer – Service Stations award for the second year running. The 7-Eleven customer satisfaction award comes after the convenience store and petrol station chain beat out 10 other brands to claim victory.
As part of the independent customer research, customers who filled up at a service station in the last month were asked to provide feedback on their overall satisfaction across several categories.
The categories included store appearance and cleanliness, service, petrol price, convenience, facilities and product range.
7-Eleven received top honours in the appearance and cleanliness, service, convenience’ and range of other items metrics, placing the brand high on the customer satisfaction scale.
Angus McKay, 7-Eleven CEO said the 7-Eleven customer satisfaction award outlined the collective effort from the 7-Eleven team to provide an unrivalled experience for its customers.
“In retail, you’ve got to do a lot to make sure that every single transaction is a great one, and in our business, that means getting it right for more than 240 million transactions a year,” McKay said.
“This award confirms customers appreciate 7-Eleven’s outstanding offer. We are investing to ensure our support office team deliver innovative store formats, and a compelling range of convenient products and services.”
The 7-Eleven head went on to praise the franchisee network for its continued support, revealing much of the brand’s success came from those in the coal-face.

Our store-based teams do a brilliant job of delivering the offer to our customers through the high standards and great value they provide and their great service in-store,” McKay said.
