A man has been left in a serious condition after an alleged stabbing near a service station at Surfers Paradise this morning.
Emergency services were called after a man in his 30s was found with an apparent stab wound to the abdomen near the corner of Monaco Street and the Gold Coast highway about 5.45am.
Critical care paramedics treated the man at the scene, before rushing him to hospital for further treatmentHe remains in the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable but serious condition.
Queensland police are investigating the incident.
