A MAN has been arrested overnight for twice ramming another car in the carpark of a Central Australian service station.

According to NT Police, a 37-year-old man was allegedly seen on police CCTV using his vehicle to ram another vehicle in the Indervon service station carpark.

He was then allegedly seen getting back into his vehicle and doing it for a second time.

It is understood the incident was related to a disagreement between the man and the driver of the other car earlier in the night.

Police attended the scene and arrested the man.

When breath-tested, he returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.115.

He is expected to be charged later this morning with a number of traffic offences including medium-range drink driving and driving in a dangerous manner.
