Police are appealing for help to find a man who has allegedly been on a brazen Gold Coast crime spree spanning several suburbs across the city over a number of months.

The 28-year-old from Arundel is wanted over numerous home and business break-ins, unlawful use of motor vehicle, fraud, stealing and drug offences.

Detectives said the offences have taken place in suburbs including Burleigh, Broadbeach Waters, Bundall, Helensvale, Varsity Lakes, Southport and more over the past couple of months.

In one of the incidents, two offenders forced their way into a business on Karp Court in Bundall just before 6am on September 6, before stealing a small amount of cash.

The pair then made their getaway in an Audi four-wheel-drive that had been reported stolen during a burglary in Kedron the previous day and was later found abandoned on the M1.

In another incident, just after midnight on September 7, a man was captured on CCTV forcing entry to a service station on Millennium Circuit in Helensvale.

Police said the man stole a quantity of cigarettes and other goods before leaving the scene in a car believed to be the stolen Audi.

“Investigations indicate the man is still actively committing offences across the Gold Coast,” Queensland Police said.

They’re urging anyone who has any information surrounding the man’s whereabouts to contact them immediately.
