Cairo: A Saudi man saved a provincial petrol station from an infernal catastrophe after a car caught fire there, according to a local media report.

When efforts failed to put out the fire, the man braved the flames and used his vehicle to safely push the burning car outside the petrol station in the town of Muhayil Assir in south-western Saudi Arabia, the online newspaper Ajel added.

Online footage showed the man inside his vehicle behind the car on fire moving it forward and out of danger. The act saved the facility from bursting into flames. No casualties or damage has been reported.
