Recognising both the challenges of COVID-19 and the opportunity offered by recently easing restrictions, the New Sunrise Group has launched a 14 day virtual tradeshow and learning conference for its retail members.

Today marks the commencement of a 14-day virtual tradeshow for over 1,000 New Sunrise retail members.

“With an unprecedented number of holiday makers planning to take a road trip this Summer, New Sunrise are ensuring stores are well stocked, and ready to trade, with a fantastic customer offer, to meet the demands and expectations of the traveller”, New Sunrise Managing Director Steve Cardinale announced. “A large area of focus is devoted to a high-quality food and coffee offer, which is a key influencer in a driver deciding where to stop in their travels”, he continued.

“A customers expectation of the c-store offer has been further accelerated in 2020, and the quality and the retail standard has grown to accommodate” he further commented. “After the tragedy of natural disasters last summer, this is a time for c-stores to put their best foot forward”.

The virtual tradeshow brings new lines, deals and savings directly to over 1,000 New Sunrise retail members across 50 suppliers, across major store categories via the newly launched New Sunrise portal. “This is a great opportunity for retailers and suppliers to connect in a virtual space, and plan the merchandising requirement of the store in the lead up to Christmas” Mr Cardinale commented.
