PLANS for a childcare centre, service station, dog grooming business, and combined car and dog wash are out for public consultation.

The City of Wanneroo has invited feedback on a range of development applications in suburban areas, including on a $2.1 million childcare centre in Yanchep until February 10.

The proposed centre on the corner of Castlemead Drive and Spinnaker Boulevard would be a single-storey building accommodating up to 94 children and 17 staff at any one time.

Replacing the Vertex estate sales office, it would operate from 6.30am-6.30pm on weekdays and have 33 parking bays.

The City has also invited submissions until February 10 on plans for a $2.5 million service station with vehicle repair and car facilities in Neerabup industrial area on Flynn Drive.

Plans include eight car refill bays, a truck refill bay, a convenience store with a drive-through food outlet, outdoor seating and an automated car wash with external vacuum bays.

Both applications will be determined by the Metro Outer Development Assessment Panel at future meetings.

Consultation will close on February 5 on plans for a car and dog wash at 30 Maroochydore Way in Clarkson, located between a fuel station, hardware store, fast food outlet and Neerabup Road.

The proposed West Coast Wash would include three auto wash facilities and four vacuum bays for interior detailing, as well as a dog wash, office and five parking bays.

The City has also invited feedback on a proposed dog grooming home business at 25 Merrivale Circle in Tapping until February 5.

The applicant plans to groom up to eight dogs a day between 8am and 6pm on Mondays to Saturdays.

The City’s administration will determine the latter two applications following consultation.

Feedback has also been invited on changes to local planning policies for service stations, roadhouses and mixed use zones until February 18, and various developer contribution plans.
