A man has been charged with a service station robbery and driving offences after being arrested at Hamilton on Tuesday.
The man, 26, had been wanted for questioning over a series of robberies in Mayfield and
Merewether.
He was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and later charged with robbery in company in relation to the hold-up of a 7-Eleven store at Mayfield on December 4.
Investigations into another robbery at the same store – and a robbery at the Mary Ellen Hotel bottle shop – were continuing.
The man was also charged over a revocation of parole warrant, drink driving and unlicensed driving.
