As reported in the AFR this morning (see more) ACAPMA has joined forces with other retail groups to express concern to the ACCC about the proposed acquisition of PFD Foods by Woolworths.

Following active engagement with the ACCC in the comment period (see more) and after seeking specific comment from members (see more) ACAPMA has joined with the Council of Small Business Organisations of Australia (COSBOA), Independent Food Distributors of Australia (IFDA), Master Grocers of Australia (MGA) and the Australasian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS) in raising concerns about the proposal.

This submission has been made as part of the ACCC comment process around the proposed acquisition.
