OLICE are investigating a suspected armed robbery in Mindarie over Easter.

A WA Police Force spokesman said police were called to an armed robbery at a petrol station on Anchorage Drive about 1.45pm on April 5.

He said a man believed to be armed entered the Puma store and took some property before running away.

Social media users reported a high police presence around Mindarie and Clarkson on Monday afternoon as the Regional Investigations Unit investigated the incident.
