If you think your day is going bad, spare a thought for this unfortunate truckie.
A Townsville Bulletin reader snapped a picture of a truck trailer firmly wedged headfirst under the roof of the Alligator Creek Roadhouse this afternoon.
The height of the roof is clearly marked at 3.6m, so it’s unclear what plan the driver had in mind when he tried moving his large trailer into the fuel bay.
Some of the roof of the service station had been damaged and traffic cones had been placed around the scene as crews start work to remove the massive vehicle.
