A member of Sydney’s Bra Boy Gang is set to appear in court, charged over the assault of an elderly man with dementia.

Police allege 44-year-old Jed Campbell kicked and punched the 74-year-old man on Monday morning at a Coles Express service station in Kingsford, in the city’s south east.

Campbell allegedly approached the older man after an interaction that occurred between him and Campell’s wife at the service station a short time earlier.

She claims the elderly man tried to get into her car with her children inside earlier that morning.

After driving off and telling her husband, he then allegedly went to the service station and assaulted the man.
