- Gold Coast woman spotted the drink making machine at a 7-Eleven in Nerang
- The machine offers frappes, smoothies, milkshakes, juices and coffees
- She shared video of machine online with many saying they’d never seen it before
A young woman has shocked 7-Eleven shoppers by discovering a rare drink machine at one of the popular supermarket chain’s stores.
The shopper visited a store in Nerang on the Gold Coast and to her amazement found a specialised drink dispenser selling frappes, smoothies, milkshakes, juices and various coffees.
She filmed herself ordering a caramel macchiato frappe and shared the footage online, with many of the responses to the video saying it was the first time they’d ever seen or heard about the machine..
The dispenser measures the ingredients required for each drink and pours the beverage right in front of the customer.
‘Are these a common thing?’ She asked after sharing the now viral video to TikTok.
Some of her followers had seen a similar machine in the United States but struggled to find them in Australia.
‘Starbucks who?’ One person teased in the comments.
Why don’t we have these they look so good!’ Another said.
Others said they’d spotted the genius drink dispenser in a few other stores in Queensland, like in Windaroo and Upper Coomera.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted 7-Eleven for comment.
