Drivers are being encouraged to hunt around for cheap fuel as petrol prices soar to 193.9 cents per litre around Brisbane, while stations just streets away are offering it for almost 45 cents less.
A growing number of stations have hiked their prices around Brisbane over the past few weeks, hitting tops of 193.9cpl as of 8.30am on Sunday.
Coles Express Geebung, Ampol Chermside, 7-Eleven Ascot, Caltex Hamilton and BP Bowen Hills are just a few of the most expensive stations in Brisbane at the moment offering just under 194cpl.
Those looking for a better deal are being urged to hunt around as it could mean the difference of almost 45cpl in some cases with JIO Underwood offering 149.7cpl.
But the options are slimming down with just four petrol stations in the Brisbane area offering prices below 150cpl.
These include Liberty Sunnybank, Liberty Karawatha and Metro Kuraby which are all offering Unleaded at 149.9cpl.

The current average Unleaded fuel price in Brisbane is 170.6cpl, however recent data analysis from RACQ found that the average price could soon reach a new record of 190cpl.
Global factors including oil prices, supply and demand issues and terminal gate prices are to blame, according to RACQ.
And although it’s likely ULP prices will remain below 200cpl for the foreseeable future, RACQ predicts another strong increase in the oil price could lead to even higher average prices early next year.
