A truck has crashed into a service station in the state’s Far West, causing significant damage to the roof of the building.

About 11.30am Wednesday, the truck crashed into the structure and become lodged at the station, which is on OTC Road at Ceduna.

Police, firefighters and an engineer attended before it was determined that the truck could be safely removed.

Police said the overhead structure was so badly damaged that it will need to be dismantled, and the main bowser area is expected to be unavailable for a few days.

Truck bowsers and high-flow diesel will still be available.

No injuries were reported and an investigation is underway into the circumstances of the crash.
