On the evening of Wednesday, December 8, a motor vehicle that was parked on Harkins Road, Gympie was entered and a wallet was stolen.

Between 10.54pm and 11.06pm on the same date, the credit card from the stolen wallet was utilised at locations in Gympie including a service station and fast-food restaurant to purchase items.

Police believe a woman may be able to assist with this investigation.

She is described as Caucasian with a tattoo on her left chest and shoulder area and was wearing a black top.

Police investigations are continuing.
