Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says petrol prices have recently “fallen sharply” across Australia.
“Some of the fall is the government halving fuel excise by 22.1 cents a litre,” he said.
“But much of the fall comes as oil prices have eased since the beginning of Russia’s war with Ukraine.”
