The outcome of the National Wage Case is fast approaching and will bring with it an increase in the Minimum Wage that will flow on to all Awards and Agreements, impacting all staff who are making less than $160,000 a year.  Failure to correctly prepare for, implement and communicate the annual changes in the base and dependent rates is a common cause for underpayment.  As such ACAPMAs coming Employment Masterclass Workshop is going to provide a deep dive into the new rates, for fuel retail, fuel wholesale and fuel administrative staff to arm attendees with the information and resources that they will need to ensure their wages and systems are up to scratch.

“One of the most common unintended errors we see when we are auditing businesses compliance systems is that they have failed to understand or correctly implement the required National Wage Case changes.  From misunderstanding how the Minimum Wage works, to simple rounding issues, this is an annual task that, if done wrong, can have massive implications over time” explains ACAPMAs Elisha Radwanowski.

ACAPMA provides Members with detailed guidance and resources around the National Wage Case and this Workshop will focus on exploring and delivering these resources in practical context, where attendees will leave with editable templates and checklists to ensure their payroll process is updated and their communications to staff demonstrate compliance.

This online workshop is focused on ensuring that attendees leave with the practical Guides and Tools, including; Checklists, Process Flows, Letters and detailed Information Packs that will assist them in achieving compliant operations.
