Police are investigating a robbery at a Christies Beach service station this morning.
Just after 4.15am on Monday 26 September police were called to a service station on Gulfview Road after a hold up alarm was activated by a staff member.
A man entered the service station armed with a knife and demanded cigarettes from the console operator.
He stole a quantity of cigarettes and cash and was last seen on foot heading north on Ocean View Road.
Luckily no one was physically injured.
The suspect is described as 183cm tall, slim build, wearing a grey/black/white camo patterned hooded jumper, black pants and black and white shoes. His face was covered with a face mask.
