An offender has been taken into police custody at a Rockhampton service station after allegedly attempting to steal vehicles.
Police were called to BP on Bridge Street, Berserker, near the Riverside Tourist Park, at 9.40am on Wednesday morning.
It is understood the offender arrived at the service station in a stolen vehicle and went inside to swap change for notes.
Staff called police who arrived shortly after and the person was taken into police custody.
The service station is operating as normal.
