Police are investigating a terrifying armed robbery at a service station in Perth’s northern suburbs overnight.
The robbery happened about 11.15pm at a service station on Erindale Road in Warwick.
Officers raced to the scene after a man entered the service station and threatened an employee with a firearm and demanded cigarettes.
The employee was not harmed during the incident.
Following inquiries, officers from the rapid apprehension squad arrested a man at a Balga address about 5.30am.
He is now assisting police with inquiries.
