Sky News host Paul Murray has slammed the Treasurer and Prime Minister over the “out of control” petrol prices across Australia.
Prior to becoming Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese criticised Scott Morrison on social media for rising petrol prices in November 2021.
One National leader Pauline Hanson recently reposted Mr Albanese’s criticism, taking a swipe at the Prime Minister for prices “surging on his watch”.
“What was that promise that they have never been able to deliver? Oh, you know the central promise of why they had to become the government,” Mr Murray said.
“The Labor government will lower the cost of living – instead up, up, up, including on petrol, which they used … to tell you why you needed to change the previous government.”
