A teenage boy has been charged after he allegedly hit a man with his car following a fight at a service station in Brisbane’s north.
Police allege two drivers pulled into a service station and got into a “physical altercation” on Stafford Road in Stafford about 1.15pm on November 15.
A 17-year-old allegedly then got into a silver Mercedes Benz car bearing a red P-plate and drove toward the 27-year-old, knocking him to the ground.
“The 27-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
The teenager was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, driver fail to remain at incident and render assistance and fail to comply with duties of driver involved in a crash.
He is expected to appear before Brisbane Children’s Court in December.
