A worker has been left “shaken” after a ute ploughed into service station in the Tablelands.
A service station attendant has been left shaken after a utility vehicle ploughed into the front of a petrol station in the Tablelands on Sunday morning.
Emergency services responded to reports of a single vehicle crash at the Mobil Atherton petrol station at 7.18am, however no injuries were recorded.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the initial report came through as a “car straight through servo”.
“The male driver in his 30s was uninjured. It looks like he might’ve thought the car was in reverse rather than in drive and went straight through,” the spokeswoman said.
“There was a worker on scene, who we transported home, as she was very shaken up about the whole thing and didn’t want to drive home.”
Mobil Atherton was contacted for comment.
